Our municipality consists of three beautiful little villages being Mont-Louis, Anse-Pleureuse and Gros-Morne. Our next-door neighbour is the horizon; the roaring of the waves, our background music; and the mountains, our refuge.

The outstanding shows given to us by Mother Nature are the tall tides in the fall; the blowing winter storms; and the deep colored sunsets from April to September.

In the province of Québec, Gaspesia is a destination favored by travellers. You get comfortable, you relax, you enjoy the scenery for a week or two, and you go back home filled with happy souvenirs.

Living here, however, allows you to discover a simple way of life. The local people, their values and their love for nature and their surroundings is constantly abounding everywhere. A friendly neighbour knocking on your door on a cold winter night to offer you a hot loaf of bread; another has cut your grass after hearing of your busy schedule; another calls to ask if you are feeling better after hearing that you are under the weather.

Our local population is of 1254. We greet each other, we smile and we take the time to inquire about one another. People here have a spirit of service to one another, are resourceful and for the most part, warm and welcoming.
